Having recently moved to South Dakota i joined the clinical staff at Dakota Counseling Institute at the beginning of April 2016. I obtained my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York state, and am licensed as Licensed Professional Counselor — Mental Health in South Dakota. My areas of interest include domestic abuse, relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, life transitions and cultural transitions. I am also a native speaker and fluent in the Spanish language.
