I am a Certified Addiction Counselor and have been with Stepping Stones since December 2014. I have a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration and a Master of Science in Administrative Studies, focusing on Human Resources, all from the University of South Dakota. I have worked in the mental health field at the state hospital and also a community based facility, as a sex offender therapist with the South Dakota State Prison system for ten years, and as an assistant manager at Walmart for five years prior to returning to the human services field. I am a provider of the Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Abuse (CBISA) groups, adolescent and aftercare groups. I spend two days a week in the Chamberlain office providing these services, along with completing treatment needs assessments.
