I am an experienced mental health professional with over 25 years of service with Dakota Counseling Institute. I obtained my Master’s Degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and obtained my CSW-PIP in 2008. I am currently the Director of Crisis Services and oversee crisis intervention efforts at DCI Downtown. I also provide clinical supervision for social workers working toward licensure as well as support therapists working in Children, Youth and Family Services and Behavioral Health Technicians at the Appropriate Regional Facility (ARF). I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an innovative, evidence-based approach that helps individuals process trauma and distressing memories in a safe and effective way.
