I joined Dakota Counseling Institute in July 2014. I completed my undergraduate work at Dakota Wesleyan University double majoring in Psychology & English. Following completion of my bachelor’s work, I earned my graduate degree in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University. I am a licensed professional counselor- mental health (LPC-MH), qualified mental health professional (QMHP), and have specialized training in EMDR to treat trauma-focused therapeutic issues. I often implement Adlerian and DBT based therapy techniques in my clinical work. My areas of special interest include depression, attachment problems, PTSD, trauma-related issues, and co-occurring disorders.
