I began working part-time at Dakota Counseling Institute in 2016 in the Mitchell office and transitioned to full-time in the Chamberlain Office in June 2018. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College in May 2018. I practice Narrative Therapy integrating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), art therapy, and play therapy. I hold certifications in Hope Focused Couples Counseling and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. I also have training in Trauma-Focused CBT, Psychological First Aid and Recovery, and QPR Suicide Prevention. Areas of interest include child and adolescent counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, counseling for the Deaf, and crisis intervention.
